Ammy is originally from Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.  She clerked with the Saskatchewan Provincial Court, Saskatoon Chambers, before joining Cuelenaere.  Ammy practices primarily in the areas of criminal law and civil litigation.  She has appeared in matters at all levels of Court including the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.  She also has considerable experience appearing before the Office of Residential Tenancies, and has appeared before many other administrative boards and tribunals in her practice, including the University of Saskatchewan Council Appeal Board and the Social Assistance Regional Appeal Committee.

Professional & Community Involvement

Since 2007, Ammy has been very involved with CLASSIC (Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon’s Inner City), serving as a student advocate, Legal Advice Clinic co-coordinator, student manager, and currently sitting on CLASSIC’s board of directors.  Ammy has also sat on and chaired various other community organization boards, focusing heavily on community work involving women, parenting, and social justice.


Ammy regularly gives presentations on Residential Tenancies law in Saskatchewan.  She has presented to community groups, media outlets, law students at the University of Saskatchewan and renters in this area.


In her spare time, Ammy enjoys spending time with her 2 children, playing piano, reading, running and cooking.
