Professional & Community Involvement

Growing up in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, Mike was active in Ukrainian dancing, minor hockey and soccer. Mike has refused to hang up his dancing boots and currently dances with an adult dance troupe in Saskatoon - 'Solovei.' Mike has always been involved with his Ukrainian-Canadian community and culture and has had the opportunity to travel to Ukraine three times. Most recently and prior to commencing his articles with Cuelenaere & Company, Mike lived in Kyiv, Ukraine for six months while working in the non-governmental sector there.

Mike spends as much of his spare time as possible with his family and spoils his two year old daughter with various sweets when mom is not around. He is also an avid outdoors person and tries to catch the walleye and trophy pike of the Churchill River system at least once a year.
